Little Robins (Ages 3.5-5)
Forest & Nature Outdoor Adventure
Ages: 3.5-5 Years Old
This program is about playing outside in the snow and having fun! Program can change slightly from one time to another depending on the weather, educator skills and the kids but it is mostly about:
Playing in the snow (building a snowman, introduction to ice sculpting, crafts…)
Animals tracks: how to find and recognize animals’ tracks
A lot of fun games: hide and seek, sled races…
This program focuses on having the kids playing together outside with a lot of fun!
What should my child wear?
Winter boots, warm socks, gloves, hat, base layers, ski pants and a warm jacket. Our educators will make sure your kids are not cold, but not sweating too much either.
Our outdoor educators are certified wilderness first aiders, qualified in providing educational, fun experiences in all seasons around this area.
They have vulnerable persons criminal record checks, positive experiences with a variety of ages of children with various abilities, skills and resources related to creating and delivering successful programs.
Most of our outdoor facilitators are professional educators, assistants and guides to complement their outdoor facilitation of the programs. We even have some parents among our program staff and that adds a wealth of knowledge to the game!
Do you need extra funding for your child to join our activities?
We are proud to support some of Revelstoke’s free outdoor camp and clinic initiatives with partnerships with awesome local groups: Girls On Ice Canada, Open Mountain Project, & Revelstoke PaddleSport Association.
