Outdoor Play

Activity Details

The Outdoor Play program usually start at 08:30 a.m., with arrivals until 9:30 a.m. After our traditional morning song and welcome circle, we all go outdoor for various activities and games. By noon, we have the campfire ready to start the 'Forest Café' and our leaders will make sure they have the perfect stories to tell the kids. After a few stories and small games, it is time to head out and finish the program around 2:30 p.m.

The day is run with a different flair and passionate lessons from our incredible leaders, guides, educators and teachers with Flexpeditions who bring a plethora of unique, positive life experiences to the programs they lead. These kids are lucky to hang out with all of these great role models and the leaders truly enjoy spending time inspiring young outdoor adventurers.

Our Team

Our outdoor educators are certified wilderness first aiders, qualified in providing educational, fun experiences in all seasons around this area.

They have vulnerable persons criminal record checks, positive experiences with a variety of ages of children with various abilities, skills and resources related to creating and delivering successful programs.

Most of our outdoor facilitators are professional educators, assistants and guides to complement their outdoor facilitation of the programs. We even have some parents among our program staff and that adds a wealth of knowledge to the game!
